Join Our Journey: Closed Testing on Google Play
We are thrilled to announce that KnitBook has officially reached the closed testing phase on Google Play! This is a major milestone for us as we move closer to putting the ultimate companion for textile artists into your hands.
A Proof of Concept for Free Tiers
The primary goal of this closed testing phase is to validate our core experience and demonstrate the value of our free tiers. We want to ensure that every crafter, regardless of their plan, has access to a reliable, high-fidelity workspace for their projects.
By testing the app in a real-world environment, we can initialise our systems properly and gather the feedback necessary to refine the user experience before a wider release.
Our Roadmap to Launch
We believe in a gradual and deliberate rollout to ensure stability. Our plan follows a clear path:
- Closed Testing: Currently underway with a small group of dedicated testers.
- Open Testing: Once we have reached a small, stable number of users in the closed loop and ironed out the initial kinks, we will transition to an open testing phase.
- Full Publication: After the app has been thoroughly vetted by the community, we will publish it to the general public.
Exclusive Perks for Testers
As a token of our gratitude for helping us build KnitBook, we are planning exclusive perks for our early testers. While we are still finalising the details, we are considering offering testers a free upgrade to our Tier 2 account, which includes full cloud synchronisation features.
