Account & Synchronisation

KnitBook uses a local-first architecture, meaning your data is stored securely on your device, but can be synced to the cloud for multi-device access.

Cloud Sync

To enable synchronisation:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Sign in with your KnitBook account.
  3. Toggle Cloud Sync to “On”.

Your data will now be encrypted and uploaded to our secure servers. When you log in on another device, your projects and stash will be waiting for you.

Offline Usage

If you lose internet connection, you can continue to use the app normally. All changes are saved locally and will be automatically synced the next time you are online.
